The SWPPI Template has been designed to assist ARC member communities in the reporting of IDEP, PEP and SWPPI activities as required by the Watershed Based Stormwater Permit. The template was designed to:
- Continue and clarify the evolving PEP collaboration
- Continue and clarify the IDEP collaboration between the counties and local communities
- Provide a mechanism for assessing the Rouge Alternative IDEP Approach vs. the Traditional Approach
- Establish a common base of SWPPI activities that should simplify reporting and data sharing
- Integrate and update the ARC 5-year monitoring plan
- Adapt to member communities not entirely within the Rouge watershed.
